How to apply Indigo

Hi Friends,

Today, I will tell you how to use Indigo along with Henna.

There are two ways to use this powder.

One step process -

Soak henna overnight preferably in an iron container. Some people mix 5-6 cloves(laung) or tea water or coffee etc as per the shades they want. 45 mins before applying henna, soak equal or more quantity of Yauvanya indigo powder separately in hot water. Then mix the two together and apply. After around two hours, wash the hair with water. Do not apply shampoo because then it will take away the color. Let it get to the roots which will be effective in a day or two.

45 mins before applying, soak equal or more quantity of Yauvanya indigo powder separately in hot water. Apply in semi dry hair and wash again after one or two hours. Do not apply shampoo because then it will take away the color. Let it get to the roots which will be effective in a day or two.

Hope you got it ! For different shades , different quantities and the duration for the two can be tried out because it all depends on the hair texture of the individual.

Mostly people follow one step process as it is easier and less time consuming.

Enjoy different hair shades :):). Byeeee !!!

Natural Hair Dye - Indigo

Have you heard about Indigo?? Am not talking about Indigo Airlines or Tata Indigo Cars :):)

In ancient times, people used to call it 'Neel ke patte' and since then many people have been using the same to dye their hair. YES, it is a NATURAL HAIR DYE !! No Chemicals are required while using indigo powder. But then of course, it is mixed with Henna powder to give its proper color/shade. Also, without which it is quite dry for the hair.

I keep receiving queries regarding this powder and surprisingly many of the Indian ladies are not aware about this powder but foreigners do know, although India is the major center for its production and processing.

Anyways, now that you know what indigo powder is, I will keep posting related information on it.

Stay tuned !!!
Have a nice day :)
